Issuu: Free online publishing

Issuu is a free online service that lets you publish e-books with a slick interface. I discovered it through DT Magazine which features James White in their latest edition. Issuu is more than just a publishing service though. It is also a community. Explore, discover and share content. There are great design related publications. I highly recommend to check it out. It would also make a great portfolio since you can view every e-book in fullscreen.

Featured Artist: Jesse Kaczmarek

I visit the Behance network on a regular basis ever since I stumbled upon it a few weeks back. It’s incredible what great artist you discover by doing so. The clean design just works. This is only a selction of Jesse’s art. See it all on his personal website.

Featured Artist: Emil Kozak

Emil Kozak is from a small town in Denmark who’s running Emil Kozak Designstudio in Barcelona, Spain. He’s passionate about skateboarding, which inspired him to start graphic design in the first place. Most of his work consists of designing boards and tees. Clean shapes, straight lines, typography and simple, yet effective colour schemes allowed him to attract clients such as VANS, Elements Skateboards and DKNY. I found him on Behance.
