Free High Resolution Photoshop Brushes: Fabric Textures

If you’re anything like me you’ll be collecting high resolution brushes like crazy. That’s way I put together a new set of Photoshop brushes for you. There are a total of 11 brushes in the collection and they are the largest possible: all of them are a stunning 2500 px. There’s no higher resolution possible than that. For once it wasn’t messy to produce the brushes. It was challenging at times though when I tried to scan a pillow triple the size of the machine. I really hope that you like the brush set. Suggestions:

These brushes are ideal to use as overlay to get a more grungy feeling. Play with colours and blending modes until you’re happy with the result.
I will release the original textures later. This way people who are stuck on Photoshop lower than CS3 can still use them.
I really hope that you enjoy them. Feel free to post your creations or send them to me via e-mail.

Downloading these now.. they look great.

I have in the past also sat and smoothed out fabric to scan.. I just used the contents of my (clean) laundry basket! Less messy than the ink splatters fiasco… Sometimes my blog is more mess than its worth…

Hi-
I live in Kansas and go to Shawnee Mission North and I am co-editor-in-chief of the yearbook. I was wondering if I could use your photoshop brushes in our senior ads just as background designs. We are willing to pay if you want to, but the yearbook will be printed by walsworth publishing plant and sent to 2000 students. Please let me know how you feel about this.

You are free to use these brushes, as well as all other fudgegraphics freebies, in personal as well as commercial projects. You don’t have to credit me, however it’s always appreciated
