Curiosity: Free October 2009 Calendar Wallpaper

This post is part of the free calendar wallpaper series. Each month I create a new wallpaper featuring the current calendar. Looking at the same image over and over again is not very stimulating. Hence having a new desktop background each month should help getting your creative juices flowing. October 2009 Calendar Wallpaper is entitled “Curiosity” and has been created entirely in Photoshop. I hope you like it.

As always the October 2009 calendar wallpaper comes in the following resolutions and non-calendar versions are also included:

  • 1920×1200 (suitable for 1440×900)
  • 1600×1200
  • 1280×1024
  • 320×479 (iPhone, non-calendar version only)

    @Batbayar: I suggest you crop the wallpaper to suit your resolution. Since it is a centred layout you won’t lose any of the main design.

    @Ankit: Have you visited this tutorial yet? http://www.fudgegraphics.com/2009/07/tutorial-create-a-retro-cosmic-design-in-photoshop/
    It explains most of the techniques used to create this wallpaper. I’ve only added the lines (pen tool) and some clouds using the Photoshop filter.

    @Adam: You still got 3 weeks to use the wallpaper so I would say it’s not too late yet.
