FYI Monday: Vibrant Illustrations by Perttu Murto

Perttu Murto is a 24-year-old graphic designer / art director / illustrator from Finland. He has been involved in graphics for almost 8 years and was also selected as the Young Advertisement Designer of the Year for 2007 in Northern Finland. Amazing artist! I’ve really never heard of him before, but just by checking out this short gallery I can already tell there’s a lot of talent.
Some really good designs, I like the mix of hand drawn elements and computer designed ones. The colours all work really well too!
@Melody: I’m always on the lookout for fresh and talented artists. Whenever I stumble upon (or get pointed in the direction of) a great portfolio I’ll bookmark it for future reference and usually end up featuring the designer.

I particularly like the all black illustrations, such as the lion and black hole. Notice how there’s so much creativity that you forget that it’s in black and white.
