Free Hi-Res Splatter Photoshop Brush Set
With pleasure I release the latest PS brush set containing 17 High Resolution Paint Splatter Photoshop Brushes. The brushes are between 2440px to 2500px large which makes them ideal for both print and web projects. It was great fun to create these splatters and splashes. All you need is a straw, watercolours and thick paper to make your own. As always these hi-res Photoshop brushes are free for commercial and personal use. Using splatters, drips and splashes is a design trend which doesn’t seem to fade anytime soon so I hope that you can put the brushes to good use.

These look really great, thanks! But, and I wonder if this is just me as Google hasn’t been able to give me an answer, is there any way to prevent custom brushes slowing the loading of Photoshop to a crawl? My copy of CS4 takes an age since I installed a bunch of them awhile ago

Glad you like them. I assume that you have all your brushes loaded in the palette. If you delete them within the palette as explained here: http://www.fudgegraphics.com/2008/05/photoshop-tip-delete-brush-shortcut/ or open the basic brushes and instead of “append” you select “replace” before shutting down Photoshop that should speed up the initial load time.
