FYI Monday: Beautiful Gig Posters by the Silent Giants

This post is part of the For Your Inspiration Monday Series showcasing the most inspiring designs out there. Each week a new artist or design style will be presented in order to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming week. I hope you enjoy the series.
Brian Larson, Ed Knight and Chris Everhart are the Silent Giants, a design studio located in Detroit best known for their beautiful screenprinted gig posters. As an avid music lover I’m always on the lookout for gorgeous prints promoting bands and shows. Each of the Silent Giants’ artworks are stunning. Below is only a small selection, so make sure to visit their portfolio for more inspiring work.

  1. I really enjoyed these, thanks for sharing, I’m definitely going to keep track of their work (:

  2. The Silent Giants definitely have a recognizable and individual style, an organic retro feel. With the use of texture, almost like the grey scale a photocopy can create.

  3. I like the play on perspective with “spoon”

  13. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found
a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She
put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab
inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go
back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
