FYI Monday: Impossible Objects and Geometric Art by Daniele De Nigris

This post is part of the For Your Inspiration Monday Series showcasing the most inspiring designs out there. Each week a new artist or design style will be presented in order to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming week. I hope you enjoy the series.
Daniele De Nigris is a designer from Bologna, Italy. I first discovered his geometric art when I started this blog (over 2 years ago) and I still don’t get tired looking at it. His lates series “Impossible Objects” are beautiful geometric optical illusions. Daniele truly is a master when it comes to this minimal design style and he’s busy putting out new work all the time. So go visit his Behance profile and Flickr Stream for more inspiration and let us know what your favourite piece is.

  1. Trick of the mind images are great, I like how you continue to study ways that they may be possible, even thought you know they can never be. The last two geometric images are very intriguing, there’s something very beautiful about the mix of shapes, lines, opacity levels and colours.

  2. Unlike the others with defined edges and straight lines, the 6th image remains provocative with the soft shapes. The adaption of the Möbius band on the 2nd and 3rd image is stunning.

  3. These are great. Clean slick and fresh. Looks like a modern day Escher is coming up!

  4. very impressive.
