FYI Monday: Gorgeous Photo Manipulations by Philipp Brunner

This post is part of the For Your Inspiration Monday Series showcasing the most inspiring designs out there. Each week a new artist or design style will be presented in order to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming week. I hope you enjoy the series.
Philipp Brunner is a freelance graphic designer based in New York. From all I could find out about him online it seems that he’s only recently started out. Don’t let that fool you though. Philipp’s work is top notch and browsing through his designs a constant creative growth shines through. I’m particular fond of the geometric shapes combined with textures and colours. Sometimes subtle, sometimes quite in your face, they always create a stunning design. 1. There is so much digital art out there these days and it’s difficult to stand out but Brunner brings something different and for a new comer, that’s a great achievement. I like how abstract the first image is and that there looks to be a human but you can’t quite tell. The second image appears to use an ‘o’, perhaps that’s a new area that could be incorporated as I see a lot of typographic digital artwork but not in this way, it’s always a word in 3D and normally just about that word. You could design abstract typographic digital art, that would be interesting to see. Although I’m sure someone somewhere has already explored this.

  2. Lovely pictures! Left a deep impression
