FYI Monday: Gorgeous Hand Drawn Illustrations by Grzegorz Domaradzki

This post is part of the For Your Inspiration Monday Series showcasing the most inspiring designs out there. Each week a new artist or design style will be presented in order to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming week. I hope you enjoy the series.
Grzegorz Domaradzki aka Gabz is a 31-years-old freelance illustrator based in Poznan / Poland. In 2003, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan with a Masters degree in Graphic Arts and Drawing. After the studies he worked first as an illustrator and later as a graphic designer in various advertising agencies. It’s beautiful to see some great pencil drawn illustrations in a mostly digital field. I’m particularly impressed with Gabz shading technique. Below is just a small selection of his work so please visit Gabz’ portfolio for more inspiration.

  1. LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE! I don’t care how many times I’ve had to draw my trainers throughout my education, there’s just something so satisfying about doing it and seeing drawings of trainers. It may not seem like much but a shoe is a brilliant thing to draw because of the perspective and shaping of them, you can measure talent with a shoe drawing I believe. I really want that painting as a poster now. I really like the Joia magazine too for it’s detail on a very smooth background with a contrasting colour that just brings out the illustration – beautiful.

  2. This type of drawing is a rare skill these days. Even more rare is someone who can combine fine art skills with great design instincts. Tremendous work!

  3. Amazing stuff! Great source of inspiration for all of us!
