FYI Monday: Beautifully Minimal Designs by Mark Brooks

This post is part of the For Your Inspiration Monday Series showcasing the most inspiring designs out there. Each week a new artist or design style will be presented in order to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming week. I hope you enjoy the series.
Mark Brooks is a Spanish graphic designer and art director who’s divided his career between New York and Barcelona. Anyone following this blog will know that I love good minimal design. So when coming across Mark’s beautifully minimal work I had to share it with you. I’m particularly fond of the “Star Grid” series in which he uses only stars, arranged in different sizes and densities to depict the faces of celebrities. This is only a small selection of his work. For more inspiration make sure to visit Mark Brooks’ portfolio.

  1. A very impressive portfolio! I love the simplicity of each piece, it doesn’t make them boring, but more interesting to look at. For instance the pointillism style portraits are extremely effective and make the audience want to see more! I really like the vinyl sleeves, there quite vintage retro, and the details on the Permissive Records artwork is great!
