This post is part of the free calendar wallpaper series. Each month I create a new wallpaper featuring the current calendar. Looking at the same image over and over again is not very stimulating. Hence having a new desktop background each month should help getting your creative juices flowing. The May 2011 Calendar Wallpaper is entitled “Gravity”. This time round I’ve tried to steer clear of my usual abstract / geometric designs and experiment with photography as the main element. The wallpaper still has the vintage touch I love so much. Free Hi-Res Clouds Photoshop Brush Set 2

This latest freebies set contains 17 High Resolution Clouds Photoshop Brushes. The brushes are between 2300px to 2500px large which makes them ideal for both print and web projects. These brushes were sitting on my computer for a while now and I always forgot to release them. They can be used in a variety of ways such as for adding cosmic and nebulae elements to your designs. Why not alter them using the warp and smudge tools in Photoshop. Alternatively you could create simple backgrounds with these for your design. Feel free to share your experiments with us! The triangular shapes were created in Illustrator, while the circles were made in Photoshop CS5 using the new 3D options.
