Peaked: Free September 2011 Calendar Wallpaper
This post is part of the free calendar wallpaper series. Each month I create a new wallpaper featuring the current calendar. Looking at the same image over and over again is not very stimulating. Hence having a new desktop background each month should help getting your creative juices flowing. The September 2011 Calendar Wallpaper is entitled “Peaked”. The inspiration behind this month’s desktop background comes from vintage film packaging such as used for polaroid. Building layer upon layer I managed to blend the colours together until I was happy with the overall saturation. It has to be said though that the outcome was by no means planned. I usually start with a blank canvas and add a few shapes until I find a layout and direction that inspires me. As always, I hope that you like it.
