FYI Monday: The Phraseology Project by Drew Melton

This post is part of the For Your Inspiration Monday series showcasing the most inspiring designs out there. Each week a new artist or design style will be presented in order to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming week. I hope you enjoy the series.

Drew Melton is a letterer and designer (sometimes illustrator) based out of Grand Rapids, MI. His work has taken off since the start of “The Phraseology Project“. The idea is simple, take user submitted words or phrases and design them with type. This project has led him to a number of opportunities with brands such as Toyota & Saatchi and Saatchi. Rather than focusing on the client work today I want to show you some of the typographic designs for the project. I hope you like them as much as I do.
