FYI Monday: Gorgeous Line Art by David Waters

This post is part of the For Your Inspiration Monday series showcasing the most inspiring designs out there. Each week a new artist or design style will be presented in order to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming week. I hope you enjoy the series.

David Waters is an illustrator who’s originally from Spokane, Washington. While studying graphic design at the University of Idaho David managed to land big clients such as Nike, Adidas and Tiger Beer. While his style is very varied I like his line art stuff the best. There’s just something amazing about artwork that uses a very limited colour palette. For more inspiration make sure to visit David’s portfolio at www.playdate.cm.

  1. Really nice collection of line art, something really different about it. Almost ‘dream-like’. Fascinating portfolio too. I see what you mean about it being varied. I think that’s what makes a great designer – someone who doesn’t just have a great style of their own but who can give the right style to whatever they put their minds to.

  2. Agreed, Some of the finest collections here! loved the Mammoth in Untamed Art!!

  3. Great Designer. Thanx for share

  4. Hi Fudgegraphics,
Interesting Thoughts, ok my boyfriend’s best friend came over to my house and started hitting on my mom. FYI, my mom is pretty gorgeous so i dont blame him, but he kind of crossed the line. he is asian so i thought he would have more respect for women but apparently not. then when we went out to a restaurant he started flirting with a bunch of other random women. what can i do to prevent this?
    Thanks
