FYI Monday: Beautiful Typography by Marko Purac
This post is part of the For Your Inspiration Monday series showcasing the most inspiring designs out there. Each week a new artist or design style will be presented in order to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming week. I hope you enjoy the series.
Marko Purac is a graphic designer & illustrator from Novi Sad. Serbia. I first came across Marko’s designs while searching for typographic inspiration online. The one thing that drew me in immediately is that Marko often uses no colour at all. There’s something special about typographic designs that solely rely on shapes and lines. It always reminds me of vintage skateboard graphics and t-shirt designs. Love the style of these. I find it really difficult to recreate this style, its intricate and simple at the same time! The limited palette is key. Especially like the ‘Happy Novi Sad Birthday Bash No.11′ design and think its a cool fun layout. Nice to see funky stuff being done in Serbia!
Very creative and professional works. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! What gorgeous typography. His style reminds me of the old, 1950s-1960s MAD comics. Very inspiring. Thanks for sharing!
