M: Free March 2012 Calendar Wallpaper
This post is part of the free calendar wallpaper series. Each month I create a new wallpaper featuring the current calendar. Looking at the same image over and over again is not very stimulating. Hence having a new desktop background each month should help getting your creative juices flowing. The March 2012 Calendar Wallpaper is entitled M. The geometric pattern was created using only the the letter M, duplicated and blended together to create the intricate composition of triangles. I didn’t want it to be too obvious though which is why I introduced a lot of white space into design. The colour green was chosen for accents, after all this is a spring wallpaper and it shouldn’t be too dark. Enjoy!

I really like this. What textures did you use for the background and the triangles? It’s subtle, but looks great!
