FYI Monday: Electric Digital Art by Josh Thomas

This post is part of the For Your Inspiration Monday series showcasing the most inspiring designs out there. Each week a new artist or design style will be presented in order to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming week. I hope you enjoy the series.

Josh Thomas (aka Ain Soph) is an illustrator / digital artist from Baltimore, MD. For a lack of a better adjective I like to describe Josh’s art as electric, vibrant and colourful photo manipulations. The first time I came across his designs must have been through Desktopography. Below is a small selection of Josh’s work, but please make sure to visit ainsophdesigns.net for more inspiration as well as case studies.

  1. I really like the Desktopography images, they’re very powerful and feel like they are parts of an animation. The image of the girl is very moving, I love the detailing of the hair and the mixed pastel colours. The Opticon piece is also very well crafted with the lighting effects, there is a lot of depth.
