Fudgegraphics | for lovers

This post is part of the free calendar wallpaper series. Each month I create a new wallpaper featuring the current calendar. Looking at the same image over and over again is not very stimulating. Hence having a new desktop background each month should help getting your creative juices flowing.

The June 2012 Calendar Wallpaper is called Iris. The design came about while playing with hexagonal shapes in Photoshop. The idea was to allude to June being the 6th month while only using geometric shapes. While I was planning on using warm colours for this wallpaper it turned out that the colder, blue tint worked best with the shapes. Another thing to note is that this wallpaper features the first week of July as well, just in case I won’t be able to release next month’s design in time. I hope you like it.
