Cut: Free December 2012 Calendar Wallpaper
This post is part of the free calendar wallpaper series. Each month I create a new wallpaper featuring the current calendar. Looking at the same image over and over again is not very stimulating. Hence having a new desktop background each month should help getting your creative juices flowing.
The December 2012 Calendar Wallpaper is called Cut and features a minimal Christmas tree as main element. I felt rather festive when designing this so it’s no surprise that I opted for a holiday-inspired graphic. The triangles were drawn in Illustrator using simple Shape Finder options. I then imported it all as separate smart objects into Photoshop to add the texture and tweak the colours. I hope you enjoy it and that it’ll put you in a cheerful mood.
