Ampersand: Free February 2013 Calendar Wallpaper

This post is part of the free calendar wallpaper series. Each month I create a new wallpaper featuring the current calendar. Looking at the same image over and over again is not very stimulating. Hence having a new desktop background each month should help getting your creative juices flowing.

The February¬†2013 Calendar Wallpaper is simply called Ampersand,¬†for obvious reasons. Those of you that follow me on Instagram will have seen a couple of rough ampersand sketches, so for this wallpaper I took it a step further and created my own custom ampersand in Illustrator. Colour correction and texturising was done in Photoshop. I’m sure that’ll experiment more with custom typography as I’ve become quite obsessed with it over the past month or so. As always, I hope you enjoy the design and feel free to leave feedback in the comments section.
