It’s an absolute pleasure to release these 11 Free High Resolution Light Grunge Textures. Each one is a stunning 3200px wide which makes them perfect for web and print purposes. I’ve recently bought a graphite stick and these textures are the result of experimenting with different surface textures. You can incorporate them into your backgrounds or use them to lightly distress your type and designs. Though I’m sure that you can think of loads more ways to use them. As always, they’re free for both personal and commercial use. You can either download each texture individually or download the whole set at the bottom of the post. Enjoy!

Free Hi-Res Grunge Border PS Brush Set + Textures

Today’s freebie set is all about grunge. It’s a pleasure to present to you the latest Photoshop brush set consisting of 11 free high resolution grunge borders. The grunge lines were created by rubbing a graphite stick over straight edges of different objects. As you can see from the banner these PS brushes are great to create grunge borders around your designs as well as to simulate hand-drawn lines. The reason why the lines are diagonal are so that I could make them as large as possible. All lines are between 3000px and 3500px in length. I know that some people prefer to work with textures which is why I made the source files available too. You can download all 11 grunge lines as a single high resolution jpg. All you need to do is cut out the line you require and paste it into your design.

I hope you can put them to good use in your commercial and personal projects. Don’t forget to share them if you like them.

10 Free Hi-Res Textures: Rolled Paint Grunge Set 2

It’s been a while since I released a new texture set and imagine my surprise when I realised that I never published these 10 Free High Resolution “Rolled Paint Grunge” Textures that were used for the Rolled Paint PS Brush Set 2. If you’re a regular reader then you know that I love my resources extra large. That’s why all the textures are a minimum of 3000 pixels in size, making them ideal for web and print purposes alike. The small previews don’t really do them justice so I’ve included a few closeups to show the detail. They’re fantastic for background images or to grunge up your designs, giving them a nice organic touch. You can either download each texture individually or download the whole set at the bottom of the post.

It’s been a long time coming and they’re finally here. I’m please to release 10 Free High Resolution “Rolled Paint Grunge” Textures. These are the source files I used to create the Rolled Paint PS Brush Set 1. All the textures are a minimum of 3000px in size which makes them ideal for web and print purposes. You really have to view them at full size to see all the detail. You can either download each texture individually by simply clicking on the preview image or you can download the whole set at the bottom of the post.

However you choose to proceed I hope that you can put them to good use. Why not try changing the colour of them or desaturating them and then blending them into your design to give it a soft grunge effect? Using them in combination with your vector art will yield a more organic result. And don’t forget that you’re allowed to use the these in both commercial and personal projects (like any other freebies found here). Enjoy!

I’m happy to release my latest textures. This set contains 14 Free High Resolution Creased Fabric Textures. There’s textures of wool, cotton, denim jeans, synthetics and cloth so everyone should find something that they like. All images are and incredible 3008px by 2000px large. Simply click on the texture preview you like to download the hi-res version. Alternatively you can download the whole set of 14 creased fabric textures at the end of this post.
Use the textures to add some organic grunge to any image by combining them and playing with different blend modes or you can use them for character design. Whatever you do with them, please have fun!

It’s time for another high resolution texture set. This time it’s all about wood panels. Wood textures pop up in more and more websites as background images. It’s a trend which sure won’t disappear in the near future. With a bit of tweaking these wood panels textures can be transformed into tile-able background images for your web projects and at the stunning size of 3264×2448 pixels they’re great for your print projects too.
