Centric: Free August 2011 Calendar Wallpaper

Free August 2011 Desktop Wallpaper Thumbnail

This post is part of the free calendar wallpaper series. Each month I create a new wallpaper featuring the current calendar. Looking at the same image over and over again is not very stimulating. Hence having a new desktop background each month should help getting your creative juices flowing. The August 2011 Calendar Wallpaper is entitled “Centric”. The idea behind the design is of temporal and seasonal nature. August is the “summer month” and as such centric to the seasons. Using the chosen colour scheme I tried to convey the feeling of the different seasons leading up to and lying ahead of the hottest month in the year. The rectangles don’t have a meaning though. I simply like geometric shapes as some of you might already know. Anyways, I hope that you like this month’s free calendar wallpaper. If you do then please help spread the work. Thanks! + Continue Reading
