Alex Varanese is a graphic designer from San Francisco. Using vintage pop culture reference combined with mostly red colour palettes he gives his art a very distinct look. I’m happy to release my latest textures. This set contains 14 Free High Resolution Creased Fabric Textures. There’s textures of wool, cotton, denim jeans, synthetics and cloth so everyone should find something that they like. All images are and incredible 3008px by 2000px large. Simply click on the texture preview you like to download the hi-res version. Alternatively you can download the whole set of 14 creased fabric textures at the end of this post.
Use the textures to add some organic grunge to any image by combining them and playing with different blend modes or you can use them for character design. Whatever you do with them, please have fun!
As always, these freebies are free to use in both commercial and personal projects without the need to credit me.

This post is part of the free calendar wallpaper series. Each month I create a new wallpaper featuring the current calendar. Looking at the same image over and over again is not very stimulating. Hence having a new desktop background each month should help getting your creative juices flowing. January 2010 Calendar Wallpaper is entitled “Beautiful Day” and has been created entirely in Photoshop. I hope you enjoy it and I wish you all the best for the new year!
