Whenever I go into London City I have to go into Urban Outfitters. It is by far my favourite clothing shop. As always I had to make a choice: which t-shirts to buy and which to leave for a later day. That’s when I decided to write a post about the great tees you can get from Urban Outfitters. Seriously, if you got the chance to visit one of their stores then do it. Apart from the great clothes they’ve got funny accessories and even sell Lomo cameras. So these are the t-shirts I’m particularly fond of. Which one do you like best?

Andrio Abero has established 33rpm in 2000 and has been working for the Seatlle music scene for almost 10 years before moving to New York. I love his strong concepts and impeccable execution. His designs are among the greatest music poster graphics I’ve ever seen. Apart from prints Andrio also does web design and illustrations for publications. Take 20 minutes of me-time and dive into his portfolio.

Erik Soderquist is 23 years old, comes from Tacoma Washington where he still lives and I would call him an all round artist. One of his designs has been featured in the CMYK Lovers post on fudgegraphics. Erik tries himself at retro grunge and photography with success. This is only a small selection of his portfolio. There’s much more to be seen on deviantArt. The most fascinating thing is to see his progress. Can’t wait to see new material.

People have been waiting for this for quite some time and Scott Hansen was teasing us real good. Well it wasn’t his fault as he wasn’t allowed to reaveal the design until it was available in Obama’s campaign shop. Now that the wait is over I know that it was well worth it. It is amazing how Iso50 manages to put so much inspiration into one single design. Now all I’m hoping for is a couple of close-up scans to see all the details.

The UK-based designer and freelancer John Latham has it all: beautiful work and the greatest identity name ever. He works under the alias “Monkeysee Monkeydesign” and his art is influenced a great deal by Scott Hansen (iso50). Many artists try to recreate this style, but John really managed to capture the retro feel of it without giving the impression of a simple rip-off. As well as being a master at typographic design Latham, who only started in 2006, has a great sense for colours.

jp33.com is the award winning website/portfolio of Jeremy Prasatik. I doesn’t reveal a lot about himself, but he shares his beautiful work with us. Personally that’s enough for me. Take your time and browse through the endless pieces he has to offer.
Supersteady.org is the personal portfolio of Paolo Lim based in South Australia. You won’t find a lot of information about him except that he’s working freelance and comes from Manila. Well, they do say a picture says a thousand words.
